Garry Davis, 49, of Wister, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2003. He was a former resident of Heavener, worked as a maintenance employee for Bremner in Poteau and was a veteran of the Vietnam era. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and one grandson. Survivors include his wife Carolyn "Sissy" Davis; three daughters, Anna Davis of Wister, Amanda Massey of Heavener and Alicia Davis of Washington; one stepdaughter, Randi Thompson of Fort Smith, Ark.; one son, Ace Davis of Washington; one stepson, Bryan Thompson of Wister; three sisters, Linda Davis of Heavener, Joan Beck of Cassville, Mo. and Shirley Goodin of Purdy, Mo.; two brothers, David and Jerry, both of Heavener; and six grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 9 at Reichert Cemetery in Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
