Clifton Edge

HEAVENER — Clifton LeRoy Edge, 86, of Heavener died Wednesday, March 26, 2003, in Fort Smith. He was a World War II veteran, retired from Kansas City Southern Railroad, a member of United Transportation Union and First Baptist Church in Heavener.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener with burial at Memorial Park in Heavener.

He is survived by his wife, Frances; a daughter, Beverly Lacefield of Fort Smith; a son, Roy Edge of Pocola; a sister, Mildred Hayes of Heavener; a brother, Dr. Jodie Edge of Norman, Okla.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The body may be viewed 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
