Joseph Fisher SPIRO — Joseph Charles Fisher, 65, of Spiro died Saturday, June 28, 2003, at a Fort Smith hospital. He was a boilermaker, a member of the Calvary Southern Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge member. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the King & Shearwood Funeral Home, R.E. Shearwood Memorial Chapel in Stigler, Okla., with burial at Old Panther Cemetery in McCurtain, Okla. He is survived by his wife, Erma; two daughters, Rebekah Jones of Danville, Va.; a stepdaughter, Townya Barnes of Spiro; two stepsons, Rodney Oldham and Thomas Oldham; three sisters, Doris Bryant of Van Buren, Margarette Mathis of Spiro and Wanda Bass of Rogers; two brothers, Howard Fisher of Bonanza and Kenneth Fisher of Mulberry; a grandchild and six step-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be James Barnes, Tracy Jones, Howard Fisher Jr., Michael Fisher, Joseph Mathis and William Allison. The body may be viewed from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. today. |
