Larrie Gilstrap, 87, of Howe, passed away Monday, May 5, 2003, at Poteau. She was born Dec. 23, 1914 at Obion, Tenn. She was a member of the Howe Assembly of God Church, loved to garden and farm.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Roger Letton Colbert; her second husband, Paul Gilstrap; one son, L.B. Colbert; her daughter, Doris Kelly; her parents, Enlow and Lora (McCant) Mitchell; five sisters; and two brothers.

Survivors include two sons, Cleatus L. Colbert of Howe and Roger L. Colbert of Bakersfield, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives; loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 6 at the First Assembly of God Church in Howe with the Rev. Andrew Ming officiating. Burial will follow in Howe Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
