Leon Goodwin, 62, of Cameron, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2003, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was born Dec. 5, 1940 at Cameron. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from DeLaval (Turbine Mfg.) Survivors include his wife Rose of the home; one daughter, Christine Edgell of Seaville, N.J.; one stepdaughter, Sharon Torpila of Hamilton, N.J.; three sons, Michael Goodwin and Timothy Goodwin, both of Ocean City, N.J., and Kevin Goodwin of Bordentown, N.J.; nine grandchildren; one nephew; two nieces; numerous cousins; other relatives and loved ones; and many beloved friends. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 2 at the Fairhill Cemetery Pavilion in Cameron with Wayne Burden and Kevin Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau. Pallbearers will be Roger Mays, Jimmy Hale, Eric Holton, Jackie Lomon, Jimmy Shirley and Troy Baggs.
