Chleo Grubbs, 88, of Heavener, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2003 at Broken Arrow. He was a longtime resident of Heavener, a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church, a member of the U.T.U. and the Heavener Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his wife Clema Grubbs; and one daughter, Judy Harrell.

Survivors include one daughter, Pat Whisenhunt and husband Deen of Broken Arrow; one son, David Grubbs and wife Barbara of Heavener; one son-in-law, Bob Harrell of Heavener; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28 at the First Baptist Church in Heavener. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
