J.B. Harper, Talihina

Representing LeFlore County in the house of representatives. He was born and reared in Greenwood, Ark., where he attended the public schools, and later at Cumberland college, Lebanon, Tenn.

Mr. Harper came to Talihina in 1911 and began the practice of law. He has been very successful and has built a splendid practice, being widely known on the east side. Has always taken a very active part in politics in his county, having been chairman of the democratic county convention in 1915. He is 30 years old and his election by a big majority from his district proves his popularity in LeFlore County.
