Everett Leroy Harrison, 86, of Heavener, passed away Friday, Sept. 26,
2003. He was a resident of Heavener since 1979, a member of the Heavener
First Baptist Church. He was also a veteran of World War II and a member
of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Cylda Faye Mattison.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years Vera; one daughter, Ginger
Lockhart and husband Bud of Heavener; four sisters, Hazel Hinkle of
Newburg, Ore., Pauline Davies of Springfield, Ore., Goldie Sinyard of
Redding, Calif. and Dorothy Jones of Broken Bow; three grandchildren,
Mindy Stevens, Jami Winter and James Harrison Lockhart; and five
great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30 at the First Baptist
Church of Heavener. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in
Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
