Florene Holton Houston, 82, of Conway, formerly of Poteau, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2003. She was born Aug. 16, 1920 at Hill, Oklahoma to James Nathaniel and Izella Richardson Holton. She was a restaurant waitress and member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge; two daughters, Linda Collins and Dottie Lowther; four brothers; and three sisters. She is survived by two daughters, Pat Adkisson of Conway, Ark. and Madge Gentry of Oklahoma City; one sister, Freda Wickham of St. Louis, Mo.; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren, long time friend Bill Harkness of North Little Rock, Ark.; several nieces, nephews and lots of friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Graveside services are 3 p.m Saturday in Oakland Cemetery at Poteau. Arrangements by Roller-McNutt Conway. |
