Gladys Jepson, 88, of Panama, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2003 at Poteau. She was born March 9, 1915 at Helena, Mont. to Sterling Price and Freda (Bowler) Creed. She was a homemaker and a member of the Philadelphians Church Group of California. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd Edward Jepson; three sisters, Wanda Creed, Joy Creed, Dorthy Manly; and two brothers, Joe Creed and Leon Creed. Survivors include one daughter, Yvonne K. Scovell of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sons, Dale F. Jepson of Poteau and Dale Ashcraft of Panama; one sister, Ruby Hopkins of Mountain Grove, Mo.; two brothers, John Creed of Mountain Grove, Mo. and Ivan Creed of Belvue, Mo.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 23 at the Royal Oak Cemetery with the Rev. Bryan Smith officiating, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro. |
