Reba Elnora Jones, 80, of Heavener, passed away Friday, Aug. 15, 2003. She was born Feb. 9, 1923 at Hix. She was a homemaker and a charter member of the Big Creek Baptist Church and taught the Ladies Sunday School Class for a number of years. Her life exemplified a personal relationship with her Lord and Savior, she was loved and devoted Christian mother and wife.

She was preceded in death by one son, Donnie Paul Jones; her parents, William T. and Grace Scott; five brothers, Benny Scott, Taft Scott, Andrew Scott, Earl Felsinger, Paul Felsinger; and one sister, Oleta Moore.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Paul E. Jones of Hontubby; three daughters, Shirley Jean Meeks, Jackie Steelman and Linda Jo Duncan, all of Heavener; two sons, Ronnie Jones of Terrabonne, Ore. and Cary Wayne (Fred) Jones of Caddo; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; four sisters, Grace Pittman, Agnes Graham, Marybel Bowen, all of Heavener and Tecie Ghent of Clarksville, Ark.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17 at Big Creek Baptist Church at Heavener with the Rev. Clyde Steelman officiating. Burial followed at Hontubby Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

Pallbearers were Shawn Jones, Ronnie Edward Jones Jr., John Steelman, Jake Duncan, Kenneth Meeks and Jason Jones.

Honorary pallbearers were Mason Jones, Rylan Miller, Gino Batti and Tino Batti.
