Gerald E. Lackey, 66, of Pocola, passed away Monday, April 7, 2003. He was a retired factory worker for Rheem Manufacturing. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. a member of AA and 1st Lutheran Church of Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife Colleen of the home; four daughters, Debra Finely of Lavaca, Ark.; Cathy Rich of Richmond Hill, Ga., Tammy Bond of Fort Smith, Ark. and Laura M. Woodard of Fort Smith, Ark.; two sons, James Kaelin of Lavaca, Ark. and Christopher Lackey of Pocola; his stepmother, Mattie Lackey of Arkoma; two brothers, Darrel Lackey of North Dakota and Glenn Lackey of Fort Smith, Ark.; 26 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Rite of Christian Burial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 11 at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Burial of ashes will be at a later, under the direction of Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Ark.
