Helen Aldred Larkin, 91, of Carlsbad, N.M., passed away Thursday, July 24, 2003 at Carlsbad. She was born April 6, 1912 at Robinson, Ill. to Jack and Kate Aldred. She was a retired school teacher who taught for many years at Mountainburg, Ark. and Carlsbad, N.M. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Carlsbad. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Hicks; second husband, Paul Larkin; her parents, Jack and Kate Aldred; two sisters, Jeanette Fullen of Fort Smith, Ark. and Betty Baggett of Norman. Survivors include two sisters, Vivian Fullis of Broken Arrow and Jackie Lindstrom of Poteau; two stepdaughters, Pat Fare and Jo George of California; four nephews; four nieces; one step grandson and; one step granddaughter. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 29 at the First United Methodist Church of Carlsbad, N.M. Burial will follow in Carlsbad, N.M. |
