Frances Longobucco, 79, of Poteau, passed away Friday, Oct. 3, 2003. She was born Dec. 14, 1923 at St. Philips, Newfoundland, Canada. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church. Her motto was always "live and let live."

Survivors include two sons, Chris Longobucco of New York City, N.Y. and Alan Longobucco of Poteau; one brother, David Squires of Danbury, Conn.; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; numerous other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.

A remembrance mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Poteau with Father Michael Charles Vincent officiating. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. in Fort Smith National Cemetery at Fort Smith Ark. under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau
