  Estella Marie 'Stella' Martin, 84, of Panama, passed
away Saturday, June 14, 2003. She was born Oct. 23, 1918 at Panama.
She was preceded in death by one son, Marvin Martin; two grandsons,
Jeffrey Martin and Carl Martin; one granddaughter, Tina Walls; one
son-in-law, Don Treece; and one sister.
Survivors include her husband, Arlin T. Martin Sr. of the home; two daughters, Melba Treece of Mena, Ark. and Shirley Walls and J.C. of Panama; five sons, Arlin T. Martin Jr. and Mary, John Martin and Wilma, and Bobby Martin and Gatha, all of Panama, Doyle Martin of Heavener, and Don Martin and Shirley of Poteau; one daughter-in-law, Marilyn Martin of Valencia, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Juanita Williams of Texas and Dolly Black of Tulsa; three brothers, Burl Ornder of Panama, Ray Ornder and Jay Ornder, both of Chicago, Ill.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 18 at the Assembly of God Church of Panama with the Rev. Harold Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Panama under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau. |
