Jack J. McClain, 83, of Spiro, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2003, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was born July 4, 1919 at Spiro to Jim and Susan (Lenier) McClain. He was a retired farmer and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Donna; one sister, Sally Imbush; and four brothers, Ed McClain, Short McClain, Felix McClain and Johnny McClain. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, which include Jeff Masterson and Gary Masterson, both of Spiro. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 28 at the Mallory Chapel with the Rev. O.M. Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery under the direction of the Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro. Pallbearers will be Derwin Gist, Charles Tobler, Eddie Stout, Wayne West, Carroll Rogers and Terry Rogers. |
