Wayne Morris, 65, of Panama, passed away Monday, Feb. 17, 2003. He was born Sept. 11, 1938 at Cauthron, Ark. He was a marine mechanic, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and loved fishing. Survivors include his mother, Marie Walker of Panama; two sons and daughters-in-law, Clay and Kay Morris of Arvada, Colo. and Curtis and Maryann Morris of Lake Charles, La.; four grandchildren, Hailey Morris, Joseph Morris, Brittney Morris and Garrett Morris; four younger sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends. Services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20 at Evans Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Jimmy D. Cook officiating, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
