Timothy C. Nelson, 36, of Van Buren died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, in a local hospital. He was disabled. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Mount McCurry Cemetery near Rudy. He is survived by his fiancée, Becky Dodd of Van Buren; a daughter, Ranie Nelson of Van Buren; a son, Coty Nelson of Fort Smith; his parents, Roy and Thomasine Nelson of Mountainburg; his godparents, Janie and Harold Dodd and Bill and Venita Blassingame, all of Van Buren; his grandparents, Tonya Kerr of Oklahoma and Tammie Jones of Alabama; five brothers, Dustin Nelson of Oklahoma, Tony Nelson of Poteau, Tracy Nelson and Darrell Boyd, both of Van Buren, and Billy Nelson of Fort Smith. Pallbearers will be his father and brothers.
