Malcolm Powell O'Haver, 89, of Poteau, passed away Friday, June 20, 2003. He was born April 21, 1914 at Norman. He was a retired mechanical engineer. He was a Mason and a veteran of World War I. He and his wife traveled extensively through his job at Dresser Oil Co.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Nema O'Haver on Sept. 12, 2001; his parents, Gessie and Delbert O'Haver; six brothers; and five sisters.

Survivors include two sisters and brother-in-law, Coleen and Clarence Blanton of Poteau and Mary Helen Hohenberger of LaFayette, La.; numerous other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 24 at Oddfellows Cemetery in Norman with the Rev. Jimmy D. Cook officiating, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
