Joe Lee Parsons
May 10, 1871 ~ Aug 4, 1913

Joe Parsons married Lue/Lou (DeHart) McQueen in July, 1902. He died in Howe, Oklahoma. Worked for the ? railroad in AR & OK from 1900 until he died. Two children: Mary Cora Parsons and Ted Owen Parsons. 

Little is known about his life before he came to Oklahoma in 1900. (in 1900 Oklahoma, LeFlore Co, Poteau twp.) May have lived in Prairie County, Arkansas, in 1870 & 1880. Hazen & Hamilton twp. May have had sister, Mary Ann b 1855 (married Jasper Dobbs 1869), and brother, Eugene b 1865. All are in those census. Joe worked for the Little Rock & Memphis Railroad in Hazen, Prairie Co, Arkansas. It is possible that the correct birth date for Joe is about 1857. We have been unable to find any further information about Joe Parsons.
