Herbert Perkins POCOLA — Herbert "Pop" Perkins, 88, of Pocola died Sunday, March 2, 2003, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was retired from Ballman Cummings Furniture Company and an Army veteran of World War II. He was the widower of Jannie Perkins. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Mountain View Cemetery in Hackett. He is survived by a daughter, Eila Bullard of Pocola; a son, Clifford Perkins of Bonanza; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Eddie, Terry, Anthony and James McCutcheon Jr. and Charlie and Denver Perkins.
