Anna Mae Rose, 82, of Whitesboro, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2003 at Talihina. She was born Sept. 8, 1920 at Red Oak to Eli and Alice Cecil-Williams. She married Ernest Rose on June 27, 1936 at Talihina. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Whitesboro, a WM leader in the church for 15 years, a Sunday School teacher, song leader, a dedicated Christian and church member.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Larence Williams, Elmer Williams, Luther Williams and Jack Williams; and one grandson, Shane Chrisman.

Survivors include her husband of the home; three daughters, Jean Hale and Judy Chrisman both of Whitesboro and Marcia Bustamante of Grand Prairie, Texas; one son, Mark Rose of Fort Smith; one sister, Helen Marsh; four brothers, J. Paul Williams, Clarence Williams, Burnie Williams and Bob Williams; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; 26 nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 22 at the Whitesboro First Assembly of God with the Rev. Ron Brannon officiating. Burial will follow at the Whitesboro Cemetery under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jeff Hale, Danny Cox, Phillip Green, Greg Green, Corey Rose and Mike Ebmeyer.
