Burl (Ann) Schaak, 65, of Shady Point, passed away Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, in Poteau. She was born March 21, 1937 at Panama to George and Ola Jane (Maxwell) Williams. She married John Schaak July 12, 1975. She was a member of the First Step of Faith Church in Poteau. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Tracy McKnight. Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons, Michael McKnight of Pittsburgh, Calif. and Keith McKnight of Shady Point; two daughters, Jane Youles of Clear Lake, Calif. and Sue Caulcassi of Pittsburgh, Calif.; one brother, George Williams of Shady Point; two sisters, Mary French of Colcord and Jackie Hawthorne of Shady Point; five grandchildren; and many beloved friends and family. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
