Mary Self, 68, of Spiro, passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003. She was born Feb. 4, 1935 at Poteau to Alfred and Mary Bell (Anderson) French. She was a housewife. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Earl Self; one son, Ronald Self; and two brothers, Bill French and Carol French. Survivors include her companion, Donnie Barlow of Spiro; three sons, Ronald Joe Self and Keith Self, both of Panama, Kenny Self and wife Norma of Williams; one adopted son, Roger Booth of California; two brothers, Bobby French of Poteau and Dean French of Panama; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17 with Mr. Paul Self officiating, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
