SPIRO — Lena Mae Smith Shockley, 84, of Spiro died Saturday, March 22, 2003, in Fort Smith. She was a charter member of Harvest Hill Assembly of God in Spiro and preceded in death by her first husband, Vernon Smith.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Mallory Funeral Home Chapel of Spiro with burial at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; three daughters, Linda Jackson and Peggy Spradley, both of Spiro, and Carolyn Smith of Munford, Ala.; a stepdaughter, Loretta Hensley of Spiro; three sons, Donald, Wayne and Keith Smith, all of Spiro; three stepsons, Robert, Benny and Mike Shockley, all of Spiro; a sister, Lavada Shaw of Corning, Calif.; a brother, Nathaniel Craig of Spiro; 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dale Smith, Hershel Eacret, Gene Higgins and Doyle Akers.

The body may be viewed at the funeral home.
