Terry Duane Skelton, 40, of Spiro, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2003. He was a crane operator and a big OU fan. He loved watching his daughter play softball, and loved to hunt and fish.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jackie Skelton; and his grandparents, Arthur Upton, Mildred Upton and J.D. Skelton.

Survivors include his mother, Kathryn Upton Skelton of Spiro; his wife Evonne Skelton of Spiro; one daughter, Keely Skelton of Spiro; two stepchildren, Clarissa Calhoun and Aaron of Spiro, and Steven Beebe of Spiro; one brother, Gary Skelton and Teresa of Cedarville, Ark.; one nephew, Cody Skelton of Cedarville, Ark.; one niece, Tiffany Skelton of Cedarville, Ark.; his grandmother, Cathrine Skelton of Panama; numerous aunts and uncles; one special uncle, Junior Upton of Spiro; one brother-in-law, Michael Blasdel and Missy of Pocola; three nieces, Ashley Blasdel, Azia Blasdel and Saige Blasdel, all of Pocola; one adopted nephew, Ace Marshall of Alma, Ark.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with the Rev. David Nolan, the Rev. Jerry Underwood and Rossi Christen-berry officiating.

Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Panama under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

Pallbearers will be Junior Upton, Danny Upton, Bruce Barchers, Don Lowery, Little John Martin and Alan Franklin.
