Vernon Doyle Skinner, 61, of Hodgen, passed away Friday, June 13, 2003. He was a resident of the area for the past 12 years, a Navy veteran of the Vietnam era, and his hobby was an environmentalist. Survivors include his wife Patricia of the home; one daughter, Eva Despres of San Bernardino, Calif.; one sister, Janet Blaise of Bakersfield, Calif.; two brothers, Russell Skinner of Nevada and Bud Skinner of Montana; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A memorial service was held at noon Monday, June 16 at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation service was under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener. |
