Clara M. Statham, 82, of Fort Smith, Ark., passed away Wednesday, Oct.
1, 2003, in Pocola. She was born Feb. 9, 1921 at Bartlesville, Okla. to
Raymond G. and Flora B. (Bickford) Forrester.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Statham; her
parents; one brother, Ray Forrester of Stockton, Calif.; and two
sisters, Louise Jeffers of Lodi, Calif. and Jeannette Dorsey of
Stockton, Calif.
Survivors include two sons, Barry Statham and wife Patty of Wichita,
Kan. and Larry Statham and wife Sherry of Denver, Colo.; one brother,
Eugene Forrester of Redmond, Wash.; four granddaughters; one
great-grandson; and two great-granddaughters.
Viewing will be Friday, Oct. 3 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Oct.
4 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4 at the
Spiro City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of
Spiro.
