Ruth L. Thompson, 92, of Heavener, passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2003. She was a longtime resident of Heavener and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include one daughter, Miranda Green of Heavener; three Stanley of Checotah, Franklin of Collinsville and James of Dallas, Texas; one nephew and one niece; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21 at the Church of Christ in Heavener. Burial will follow in Proctor Cemetery at Proctor, Okla. under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
