Services: Friday, Aug. 16, 10 a.m.

Services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., Friday, August 16, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. for Vera Inez Wells, 89, who passed away August 12, 2002. Minister Jon Reed will officiate.

Inez was born in Poteau, Oklahoma, July 30, 1913. She attended local schools.

Her husband, Harold (Shorty) Wells preceded her in death. She is survived by her three children: son, Edward G. and wife, Francis Wells of Taft; and daughters, Gloria B. Alesso of Lancaster and Joyce E. Holland and husband, Carl Holland of Bakersfield; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Inez and her husband, Harold were founding members of the Church of Christ of Frazier Park, where they worked and worshipped for the years of their active life. She worked for the El Tejon School District and was active in many activities of Frazier Park where she resided.

She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Honorary casketbearers will be her grandsons, Daniel Wells, Brad, Mark, John and Casey Alesso, Ed, Kent, and Timothy Holland.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 15, 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
