Leona M. White
1918 - 2003

Graveside services for Leona M. White will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2003, at 10:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Park. 

Leona was born on February 18, 1918, in Poteau, Oklahoma, and has resided in Bakersfield for 53 years. She loved her family and took great pride in being a wonderful cook and homemaker.

She is preceded in death by sons, George and Doyle Wilkerson. Leona is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Max White; grand-daughters, Shawn Hill and husband, Steven, Leslie Simpson and husband, Kevin, and Ruthie Shaw and husband, John; grandson, Eric Wilkerson; great-granddaughters, Emily Hill and Nicole Corbett; great-grandsons, Brock and Tyler Simpson and Nathan Shaw.
