Ruby June Bazoon, 75, of Bokoshe, a floor lady at Brendlin-Rice Frozen Food, died July 5, 1999, in Hereford, Ariz.
She was born July 24, 1923, in Hilt, Calif. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Glenwood Springs, Colo., and Unit 75, American Legion Auxiliary at Bokoshe.
She is survived by two sons, Robert and Margie Lindsey of Fresno, Calif., and Vern and Angela Lindsey of Atascadero, Calif.; one stepson, Otis J. Bazoon of New Orleans, La.; four daughters, Linda and Philip Southwick of Santa Maria, Calif., Cheri and Richard Childs of Covina, Calif., Donna and Arley Lewis of Littlerock, Calif., and Debbie and Carl Norton of Hereford, Ariz.; two brothers, Richard Davis of Modesto, Calif., and Ted Davis of Lakewood, Calif.; nine grandchildren, Robert A. Lindsey, Joseph G. Lindsey, Elvis Lindsey, Jeremy S. Monroe, Jodi R. Monroe, Lindsey D. Childs, April Southwick, Kelli Southwick, and Kristi Southwick; two great grandchildren; and special friends, Wayne and Wrenetta Kroth, Betty Tackett and many others from Bokoshe and Santa Maria, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 8, at First Assembly of God Church in Bokoshe, with burial at Old Bokoshe Cemetery, Bokoshe.
Rev. Joe Pierce will officiate. Arrangements were under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.
