Effie M. Lilley Cirar

POTEAU - Effie M. Lilley Cirar, 76, of Poteau died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, in Tulsa. She was a nurse's aide at St. Mary's Hospital and a dealer and distributor for Stanley Home Products in Hartshorne, Okla., where she lived before moving to Poteau in 1998. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 180 in Hartshorne, the First Baptist Church of Haileyville, Okla., and later the First Baptist Church of Poteau. She was the widow of Vernon W. Lilley and Frank Cirar.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church of Haileyville with burial at Elmwood Cemetery in Hartshorne, under the direction of Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.

She is survived by four daughters, Patsy Lilley of Okemah, Okla., Nancy Neal of Stigler, Ida McCabe of Amarillo, Texas, and Verna McKelvey of Pennsylvania; four sisters, Pinkie Scroggins of Parlier, Calif., Francis Chronister and Mary Duncan, both of Cauthron and Dora Doyle of Poteau; one brother, Clyd Lee Sr. of Cauthron; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
