Vernon DoyleVernon Issac Doyle was the first child born to George Thomas and Jane Forehand-Doyle. Vernon was born on September 16, 1921 in Heavener, Oklahoma. Vernon served in WWII with the United States Army. He was a Baptist Minister. Vernon married Laverne Brown. To this union four children were born: Jimmy, Lillian, Ray and Diane. Vernon was killed in a logging accident on June 21, 1979 in Heavener, Oklahoma. He is buried in Page, Oklahoma.

Grandson of Samuel and Anna Ezell-Doyle.

Ruth Cox Doyle is the mother of Donald Doyle and wife of William Thomas Doyle.  Taken around 1942 in Independence/Heavener.  Owner: Don Doyle
