Jewell D. Harbison, 89, formerly of Farris, died April 04, 1995 at the
Colonial manor Nursing Home in Midwest City.
Born September 30, 1905 at Dardanell, AR, she was the daughter of John Thomas
MITCHELL and Addie York MITCHELL.
She was raised in the Howe, area of Oklahoma. She was a housewife and a member
of the Church of Christ.
She was united in marriage to David B. Harbison on February 08, 1930 at Hugo,
OK. He preceded her in death March 14, 1969 at Midwest City.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a grandson, Ralph TRIMBLE;
and a half-brother, Clifford EMERY.
Mrs. Harbison moved to Farris in 1944, to Midwest City in 1961, and later to
Hinton, Oklahoma in 1973.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, April 07, at the Church of Christ in
Farris with Mr. Andy Rogers officiating.
Burial was in the Farris Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, James Harbison, Pauls Valley; and David B. Harbison, Midwest City; a daughter, Lillie TRIMBLE, Rose Creek, MN; 11
grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and a half-brother Theodore EMERY of
Mt. Pleasant, TX.
