Curtis Dwayne Jones
Services: Today, June 18, 10 am

In memory of Curtis Dwayne Jones, who left us too soon on June 14, 2002. Curtis was a loving husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, father-in-law, brother-in-law and friend to all.

Curtis was born in Bakersfield, CA to John and Lola Mae Jones the youngest of six children. Curtis was a loving husband of 33 years and the father of three children. 

He is survived by his wife, Linda Jones. Daughters, Sherrie Patterson and husband Ben, Christa Jones. Son, Curtis Jones Jr. and wife, Stefanie. Plus Papa to seven grandchildren. Brother, John Jones Jr.; sisters, Martha Mavity; Carol Wittenaben [Wittenben] and Bonnie Medlock and numerous nieces and nephews.

He worked as a peace officer for the City of Arvin. Followed by a long career in routes sales for Waynes and Larsons Dairy prior to retiring seven years ago.

Curtis was an avid hunter, fisherman and Wal-Mart shopper who enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a wonderful man who brought laughter and joy to those he met. Curtis is greatly loved, admired and respected. He will be missed every passing moment by those he touched during his life. Curtis passed his joy of life on through his giving and sense of humor. He was a simple man who would never acknowledge to himself the impact and gifts he brought to our lives.

Graveside service to be held at the Arvin Cemetery, Tuesday, June 18, 10 a.m. Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary.
