Mildred "Mickey" Parkhurst, 89, of Poteau, passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was a former resident of Heavener, a member of the Heavener Christian Church and a resident of Poteau since 1993.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ross "Parky" Parkhurst.
Survivors include one son, Charles Parkhurst and wife Phyllis of Poteau and special loved son, Don Buchanan of Grand Prairie, Texas; three grandchildren, Linda Wise, Ross Parkhurst and Eva Caldwell; special loved grandson, Doug Tomlin; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29 at Heavener Christian Church. Burial will follow in
Memorial Park Cemetery at Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
