Christine Vinson, 86, of Heavener, passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, in Poteau. She was a longtime resident of the Stapp-Zoe community, a resident of Heavener since 1981 and a member of the First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Vinson.
Survivors include two daughters, Frankie Simpkins of Poteau and Lucretia Frost and husband Don of Heavener; two sons, Jack Vinson and wife Lois and Cliff Vinson and wife Linda, all of Heavener; one sister, Vera Harrison of Heavener; three brothers, Clyde, Harold and Melbourne Dorsey, all of
Drumright; one brother-in-law, Owen Robbins of Cushing; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6 at the First Baptist Church of Heavener. Burial will follow in
Memorial Park Cemetery in Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
