Burl Willingham, 81, of Maysville, died April 2, 1999, at his home in Maysville.
Willingham was a well-known and respected man of the Maysville community. He was a member of the Maysville Assembly of God.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 5, 1999, 2 p.m., at the Maysville Assembly of God, with Rev. Charles Dean and Rev. Danny Gamble officiating. Burial was in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville.
Willingham was born April 10, 1917, at Heflin, Ala., to Toliver and Martha Jones Willingham
He moved to the Maysville area about 1947 from eastern Oklahoma and went to work for Warren Petroleum. He had over 28 years of service with the company. He was married to Nethleee Bledsoe in 1936 at Milton. She preceded him in death in 1996. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Sanford, Lank, Earnest, Lonnie and Earl and by one daughter, Carol Hasham, in 1984.
Willingham is survived by four children, Betty Albright of Maysville, Buck Willingham and his wife, Janie, of Maysville, Martha Willingham of Oklahoma City and Mary Lou Beck and her husband, Kelly, of Maysville; a brother, Virgil Willingham of Poteau; nieces, Midge Bledsoe and Barbara Dodd of Shady Point' grandchildren, Tammy
Blankenship, Randy Haslam, Richey, Danny and Steve Albright, Misty Willingham and Rod and Luke Richardson; great-grandchildren, Curt and Clint Blankenship, Austin, Savannah and McKinley Albright and Laci and Kali Haslam.

Carol Dean (Willingham) Haslam was born February 6, 1941 at Calhoun, Oklahoma to Burl and Nethlee (Bledsoe) Willingham. She died at the age of 43 on October 3, 1984 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma after an extended illness (Cancer). She attended school at Pernell, Oklahoma. In 1956 she married Bobby Gene Haslam. She was a Beauty Operator in Lindsay for eight years before retiring. She loved the out-of-doors, fishing and being with her family. Carol was affiliated with the Church of Christ in Lindsay, Oklahoma. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister and daughter.
Survivors include: her husband Bobby, of the home; one daughter, Tammy Diane Blankenship of Blanchard, Oklahoma; one son, Randy Gene Haslam, of Lindsay; three grandchildren, Kurt Blankenship, Clint Blankenship of Blanchard, and Laci Haslam of Lindsay; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Burl Willingham of Maysville; three sisters, Betty Albright, Mary Richardson, and Martha Haught, and one brother Burl Ray (Buck) Willingham of Lindsay and many other friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held October 6, 1984 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Maysville with Rev. Geral Harmon officiating with burial in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home of Maysville, Oklahoma.
