Loyce lived in San Diego from 1942 to 1945, when she moved to Springfield. She attended beauty college in Eugene, Oregon for one year.

Loyce and Harold Wilson were married in Vancouver, Washington on November 23, 1946. She worked as manager of the Towne Shoppe in Springfield from the 1950's through the 1970's. Her interests included fishing, crocheting, knitting and needlepoint, and she was a member of the Springfield Moose Lodge.

Survivors include her husband; a brother, Ralph Adams of Marcola, Oregon; three sisters, Dorothy Hall of Coburg, Oregon, Ruth Payne of Redlands, and Mary Jenkins of Springfield.

An older brother, Lloyd Adams, passed away during World War II in a Japanese prison camp. A daughter, Sue Dennis, passed away in 1951.

Loyce was the granddaughter of Thompson David Sexton and Lillie Palma Barns, and the great-granddaughter of Ish-Te-Millay and David Sexton. We, her family, will always love her and cherish our memories of her.
