Edith Lucille Wright, 83, of Heavener, passed away Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, in Poteau. She was a lifelong resident of the area, a cook for many years for the school and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Wright of Fort Smith and Bud and wife Jennifer Hardin of Heavener; one sister-in-law, Daphne Plummer of Poteau; one granddaughter, Jesse; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15 at the First Baptist Church in Heavener. Burial will follow in
Memorial Park Cemetery at Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
