Marie Ellen Ames
STIGLER - Marie Ellen Ames, 91, of Stigler, formerly of St. Louis, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, in a Haskell County hospital. She was the widow of Raymond W. Ames.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. today at Stigler Catholic Church with burial at Stigler City Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
She is survived by one son, Edward of Stigler; one sister, Ann Levine of St. Louis; three grandchildren, Edmond L. James of Hoyt, Okla., Edward Ames Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas and Judith Mabery of Splendora, Texas; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Monte Bankhead, Randy Mathews, Judson Brock, Paul and Ben Cooper, and Allen Jones.
