Neal Crutchfield
SALLISAW - Neal Crutchfield, 84, of Sallisaw died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2002, in Sallisaw. He was born Dec. 17, 1917, in Bunch. He was a coal miner retired after 40 years with Garland Coal Company in Fort Smith, 16 years with Crummies Creek Coal Company in Harlan, Ky., a member of United Mine Workers Local No. 1329 in Stigler and was a Baptist.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
He is survived by his wife, Ada; a daughter, Nadene Crutchfield Hill of Lucas, Texas; three sons, Jess N. Crutchfield Marshall, Texas, Howard O. Crutchfield of Arlington, Texas, and Delma R. Crutchfield of Sallisaw; a sister, Daisey Brewer of Bakersfield, Calif.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
