Leamon P. Flippin, 91, of Van Buren died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, in a nursing home. He was born March 31, 1911, in Fort Smith. He was the former owner of Flippin Body Shop, a member of the First United Methodist Church and a 33rd-degree Mason. He received his Masonic 50-year pin and was a member of the Belle Point Lodge No. 20 and a Shriner.
Masonic graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith.
He is survived by a daughter, Sharon Flippin of Alma; and a sister, Violet Wickersham of Fort Smith.
