Irvin McGowan

SALLISAW - Irvin S. McGowan, 83, of Sallisaw died Nov. 28, 2002, in Sallisaw. He was a former Sallisaw police officer, a self-employed mechanic and a member of the Assembly of God.

Funeral will be 2 pm Tuesday at Agent Funeral Home Chapel in Sallisaw with burial at Sallisaw City Cemetery.

He is survived by two daughters, Kay Plank of Muldrow and Sharon King of Tulsa; four sons, Charles McGowan of Lawton, Okla., Rick Walters and Adrain McGowan, both of Sallisaw, and Jeff McGowan of Mulberry; a sister, Margie House of Kansas City, Mo.; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Todd and Tim McGowan, Donnie Tishner, Ricky and Brandon Walters, Steve Livingston and Ray Gillespie.

The family will visit with friends from 9 am to 9 pm today and until the funeral Tuesday.
