Dan Y. Trice, 89, of Roland, formerly of Van Buren, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2002, in a local hospital. He was a retired corporate office manager for the Hobart Company in Troy, Ohio, a Baptist and a Mason for more than 50 years. He was the widower of Senorah Trice.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife, Macie; two daughters, Jo Franklin and Benita Huddleston, both of Van Buren; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
