Bill "PeePaw" Couch, 73, of Poteau, Okla., passed away
Feb. 19, 2005. He was born Oct. 9, 1931, at Poteau. He was a
laborer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Mattie
Couch; three brothers, Bob Jr., and Chester Couch; two sisters,
Lizzie Barbara and Emma Cheshier; two sons, Larry and Bruce
Couch; two grandsons, Tommy Oakes and Billy Couch.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a son and
daughter-in-law, Terry and Starla Couch of Poteau; four
daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Tom Oakes, Linda and
Melvin Himes, Tammy and Marty Duncan and Peggy Bell, all of
Poteau; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one
great-great-grandchild; other relatives and loved ones and a
host of beloved friends.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb.
22, 2005, at Evans Chapel of Memories at Poteau with Rev. Jim
Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery under
the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
Pallbearers will be Terry Couch, Marty Duncan, Tom
Oakes, Dustin Bell, Stubs Thompson, Randy Oakes, Raymond
Thompson and Oscar Bell.
