Billy Joe Ramsey, 70, of Pocola, OK passed away October 27, 2005, in Pocola. Billy Joe was born May 2, 1935, in Hartford, Arkansas, to Joe and Mary Francis (Grogan) Ramsey. He was a heavy equipment operator.

Billy Joe married Charlene Ridenour on April 20, 1956, on the front porch of his Dad’s house in Pocola.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

Billy is survived by his wife and two sons Mark Allen Ramsey and wife Theresa of Hackett, AR, and Jerry Wayne Adamson and wife Jenny of Ft. Smith, AR; five grandchildren and many other love ones and friends.

Service will be Saturday, 10:00 AM, October 28, 2005, at Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola with Rev. Gene Thomas officiating. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
