Elton Eddie "Buck" Richardson, 72, of Panama passed away
Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, in Fort Smith. He was born in Buck
Creek, Okla., July 3, 1938, to Eddie and Ruth (Lloyd)
Richardson. He was a heavy equipment operator. He served in the
Korean War as Navy flight engineer. Elton was preceded in death
by his wife, Clara; and daughter, Veta Richardson.
Survivors include daughter, Teresa Wright of Fort Smith; four
sons, Elton Ray Richardson of Fort Smith, Tony Richardson of
Okmulgee, Okla., Gerald Imhauser of Kansas City, Kan., and Mike
Killion of Panama; a sister, Merle Christenberry of Panama; a
brother, Don Richardson of Beebe, Okla.; 17 grandchildren, Nikki
Perritt, Katlin Richardson, Easton Richardson, Sean Wright,
Jeffery Wright, Amanda LaRue, Kathy Wilks, Karen Plemmons,
Anthony Richardson, Adam Richardson, Heaven Richardson, Bethany
Richardson, Christina Richardson, Noah Richardson, Cody
Richardson, Charles Lee Sullivan and Jerry Dewayne Johnson;
other relatives and loved ones; and many beloved friends.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Old Bokoshe Cemetery
pavilion with the Rev. Glendle Black officiating. Interment will
follow in Old Bokoshe Cemetery. The family will be at the
funeral home today from 5-7 p.m. to visit with relatives and
friends. |
