Visitation: 9:00 AM January 10, 2006 at Grace Manor Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 2:00 PM January 09, 2006 at Dog Creek Community Church. Interment: 3:00 PM January 09, 2006 at Milton Cemetery

Vernice married William Lovell on May 19, 1945, in Poteau, Ok. Vernice was a nurses aide and of the Assembly of God faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, Denise Lovell, and a brother.

She is survived by her husband, William, of the home; two sons, William N. Lovell and his wife Katherine, Gerald Wayne Lovell and his wife Linda, all of McCurtain, Ok; two daughters, Jackie Stout and her husband Curtis and Sue Lovell and her husband Burel all of McCurtain, Ok.; a brother, Ivan Watts of McCurtain; two sisters, Beatrice Paul and Dorothy Jean Haggard both of McCurtain, six grandsons and one granddaughter, ten great grandchildren and a host of other loved ones and friends.

Pallbearers will be Steven Lovell, Tracy Lovell, Stacy Lovell, Greg Lovell, Michael Myers, Daniel Stout and Weston Lovell. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Watts, Timmy Watts, Harold Watts, Kenneth Watts, David Watts, and Michael Paul.

Services will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 9, 2006, at Dog Creek Community Church with Brother C. Lynn Bullard and Brother Stan Ledford officiating. Interment will follow at Milton Cemetery, in Milton, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
